In June of 2010, Slick's Que Co. was honored as one of "The Best of the Best BBQ Restaurants in America" by the National BBQ News Publication.

In April of 2011, Slick's was once again honored by the National BBQ News as one of "The Best of the Best BBQ Restaurants in America" We are very proud to have received this award for 2011!
In June of 2011, Slick's competed against a whole lot of well seasoned BBQ teams in the first annual Sisters KCBS sanctioned BBQ contest - Brews, Views and Barbeques. We are proud to say we won 2nd in Ribs, 6th in Brisket and 7th in Pork. Not bad for our first KCBS event. We got a great trophy and a good amount of cash, which we donated back into the community of Sisters.
